About Akiva Shapiro, Esq.

Akiva Shapiro is a local Nassau County attorney with a practice in Old Bethpage. Akiva Shapiro earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, an International Executive MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) in Computer Science from Iona College.

Mr. Shapiro is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Prior to being admitted, Mr. Shapiro had a lengthy career in business, having negotiated contracts and business deals for more than two decades. With this knowledge and experience, he approaches the legal field from a unique perspective of understanding the risks of doing business and how to best prepare for uncertainty.
